I was awoken this morning to the lovely sound of two women screaming. What a lovely thing... Fighting neighbors and what they were fighting about I could barely tell, they were yipping and yapping so fast practically right outside my door that I could barely make half the words out. most were obsenities and other random nonsensical things. I just dont understand sometimes how people can lack the ability to be civil. I mean in all that yelling, can they honestly expect to get their point across at all when the other is yelling back so fast that they probably only heard 10% of what they are yelling.Current Mood: aggravated

Im actually updating, scary! Think I might start making more, we'll see. Quite a few people came and left in my life the past year. Many things have changed. Attending CCAC this fall on a general study, but I will probably be changing that to a Marketing major by next semester since my company will then pay for all of it. Still playing away. Working on Vivaldi's Concerto in A minor. Just learned some Arabic scales too, which have been fun for improv.

 | You scored as Joy Division. Manchesters Joy Division remain one of the most popular and influential post-punk bands, perhaps thanks in part to singer Ian Curtis martyr-like status following his suicide in 1980. Their music is a dark, atmospheric, almost gothic sound which is complemented perfectly by Curtis tortured lyrics, best heard on 1980s Closer.

| » X-Mas Party |
Went to the company Christmas party last night. On the way there I was rear ended by an old man. He said his foot slipped, pretty hard hit for his foot to just slip, I had a cigarette in my mouth at the time and the hit caused it to fly out of my mouth and into the windshield. What was my first thought? "Oh shit! There goes my cigarette!" Blocked up Rt 8 for some time just sitting there. Simply didnt want to move, I was really dazed and couldnt really focus at all. Police came and did their thing. They told me it was this guys second accident in an hour, holy shite! After all this we still made it to the party in good time.

Today is slow. Have some things I would like to gt caught up on, but not quite up for them at the moment. Im really feeling like having a deep conversation of some sort, something mentally stimulating but finding someone to have one with seems a little hard right now. Odd little moods lately. Must be something with the weather change.

| » New Teacher |
Finally found a teacher. Someone from the local Symphony Orchestra. No luck on one for cello still. The first lesson will be on Monday, cant wait! My canopy bed finally arrived, so my room is all setup now. I even put a little table up there for my violin. Yes, its that special table that only my Bohemian beauty may rest on. Now I want to get a nice chair up there for the cello. Been keeping my eyes open.
You know whats worse than having a violin on the verge of winter when your pegs pop out all the time? Having four violins and a cello...

You know what sucks more than having your favorite violin in the shop. Having a string pop on your backup violin and forgetting both your tuners and rosin AND favorite bow in the case you handed off to some stranger who you hope will fix your favorite antique and not jump state with it and sell it on the violin black market in Chicago.
Dont most of the good luthiers work on your instrument in front of you? This guy doesnt. He asked me "Do you need it anytime soon?" Well duh, its my baby.
